Typical Smoothie of the Day
My smoothies always vary depending on what’s in the ‘fridge. Here’s the one I made yesterday:
1 cup Kale
1/2 cup Blueberries (if using frozen fruit I thaw them
1/2 cup Strawberries (a bit so the blender blades don’t
1/2 cup Grapes (work so hard.)
1/2 Florida Avocado
5 Brussels Sprouts
1 can 100% Coconut Milk
1 dollop Honey
2 cups Kefir (I make my own)
1 cup+ Apple Juice (enough to churn the blender)
This may be more than will fit in one blender run.
I did two runs and mixed them.
I never dilute my smoothies with ice or water. I always use 100% juice (Cranberry, Pomegranate, Blueberry, Pineapple), adding enough to make it thin enough to easily pour.
With all those fresh ingredients don’t keep it around for more than a day or two. Drink up!
